Evaluation Question 6 Planning

This question requires us to explain the sorts of technologies we used, and therefore we will possibly make a video, showing us either using the equipment or just showing the different kinds of software, kit and technology we used to create our film.

Evaluation Question 1 Plan

This question will presented as a video of us standing in front of the green screen with certain images being shown behind us. We will also be putting in pictures and sounds throughout the video to help us to  explain, rather than just reading the scripts.

We have changed the way we are going to do this question, we are now just going to film ourselves talking about this question and when editing, have the things that we are talking about, come up on screen.

Beth and I, worked on planning this question together.

Changing the natural sound

To get on to changing the natural sound, I turned on this button.

I then changed the sound levels from the clips that needed it as shown at the side.

Soundtrack

I am now working on creating our soundtrack, because thriller films use orchestral music in their soundtracks this is what I will be using too.

There were a lot of sounds that I could choose out of so I selected Orchestral, Strings and Intense to find the right sounds that would suit my film.

I have chosen two different sounds that I am using for my bass of my music, this is shown in the top line.

I then added on the additional sounds to go over the top of this bass sound as shown on the bottom line in the picture below.

Effect

On the close up of the knife shot, I decided that I needed to put an effect over this to make it look a bit more interesting. I chose to put 'Bad Film' over this. Below is a picture of how I found this.

Once I put this effect on the clip, it looked a lot better and gave the whole film a better look to it.

Colour Correction

After both members of my group completed our individual rough cuts, we decided to keep to Beths project to continue on for our final project. However, we liked the colour collection and effect I put on one of the shots from my project so I then went through and did these extra things to Beth's project.

The above picture shows one of the shots I put the colour correction on.

The above picture shows how I got onto colour correction. I then did this to all my shots that needed it by adjusting the colour from the circles shown in the first picture. After I changed the colouring of the shots, our film looked a lot more professional and had an expensive look to it.
